BOARD HE HAD GIVEN A COPY OF THE LETTER HE WROTE TO MR. DURRELL AN-DA
COPY OF MR. DURRELL'S RESPONSE-IN REGARDS TO PROOF AS A SUPERVISOR
WHILE EMPLOYED BY MAXWELL PLUMBiNG.~ THE BOARD SECRETARY.
AFTER A BRIEF DISCUSSION CHAIRM3a~RALLOUGH STATED THAT HE .WAS SATISFIED
WITH THE ATTEMPT MADE BY MR. MOBLEY.
COMPLAINT - BASSI vs HUSSAIN
MR. HUSSAIN WAS PRESENT AT THE MEETING. MR. BASSI WAS NOT.
MR. COOPER STATED THAT A WRITTEN COMPLAINT.HAD BEEN RECEIVED FROM
MR. BASSI AND GAVE A RUN DOWN OF THE CASE.

MR. HUSSAIN WAS ASKED TO COME TO THE MIC TO STATE HIS SIDE OF THE CASE.
MR. DOMINIX FELT THAT SINCE MR. BASSI WAS NOT PRESENT THAT THERE REALLY
WAS NO CASE. HE FELT THERE WAS NOTHING THE BOARD COULD DO.
FOLLOWING A BRIEF DISCUSSION, CHAIRMAN BALLOUGH STATED THAT THE HOARD
WAS CONCERNED BUT COULD NOT MAKE A DISCISION - THAT IT WASBETWEEN
MR. HUSSAIN, MR. BASSI AND THE COURTS.
RECESS WAS TAKEN At 8:25 - REOPENED AT 8:30 P.M. WITH ALL PRESENT.
DISCUSSION - SUBS PAID BY THE HOUR - RE: CHARLIE TITUS, GRADING
THE BOARD SECRETARY TOLD THE BOARD THAT SEVERAL'~EARS AG~ ... MR. TITUS
HAD BEEN TOLD THAT SINCE HE WAS B~"iNG PAID' RY THE HOUR THAT HE DID NOT NEED
A SUB-CONTRACTORS LICENSE. DURING LICENSE RENEWAL THIS YEAR~ WHEN HE
APPLIED TO RENEW HIS CITY OCCUPATION LICENSE, I~. WAS AGAIN QUESTIONED. IT
WAS THE FEELING OF THE BOARD THAT REGARDLESS OF HOW A SUB-CONTRACTOR IS
PAID THEY ARE STILL SUB-CONTRACTING'AND THEREFORE ARE"REQUIRED TO BE LICENSED.
MR. TITUS WAS GIVEN 60 DAYS IN WHICH TO COMPLY.

MOTION BY MR. DOMINIX, SECONDED BY MR'. HALLGREN TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF
10/6/87 AS WRITTEN.
CARRIED.
BUILDING OFFICIAL MATTERS:
MR. COOPER INFORMED THE BOARD THAT INTHE REVISIONS TO~'THE BUILDING CODE
THAT THEY HAVE RAISED HAND RAILS FROM 30'"~ - 34" TO 34" - 38"
GLAZING:
MR. COOPER SAID HE WAS SATISFIED WITH WHAT WAS BEING DONE AT THE PRESENT
TIME.
MOTION BY MR. DOMINIX, SECONDED BY VICE. CHAIR~CAREY THAT THE BOARD
REVIB%; GLAZING, WITH INPUT FROM .THE BUILDINGOFFIOIAL AND THAT THE
CODE WERE SATISFACTORY IN REGARDS TO THEPUBLIC AND THAT NO FURTHER
REGULATIONS WERE NEEDED.
CARRIED.
CHAIRMAN BALLOUGH AND MR. DOMINZX TOLD THE BOARD ~'HAT THEY WERE NOT SEEKING
RE-aPPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD~.
MOTION BY VIC~ CHAIRMAN CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. HALLGREN TO RELUCTANTLY
ACCEPT THE RESIGNATIONS OF CHAIRMAN BALLOUGHAND MR. DOMINIX.

QUALIFIYING A CORPORATION:
THE BOARD SECRETARY REMINDED THE BOARD THAT SEVERAL MONTHS AGO IT WAS
DECIDED THAT A SOLE PROPRIETOR CHANGING TO CORPORATION HAD TO COME
BACK BEFORE THE BOARD WITH A NEW APPDICATION FEE. SHE FELT THAT SINCE
IT WAS THE SAME PERSON QUALIFYING THAT IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO COME BACK
BEFORE THE BOARD AND THAT A FULL APPLICATION FEE~'SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED.
MOTION BY VICE CHAIRMAN CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. DOMINIX THAT THE BOARD
SECRETARY MAKE THE CHANGE FROM ANINDIVIDUAL TO A CORPORATION AND THAT
THE FEE BE $25.00.
CARRIED.
MOTION BY VICE CHAIRMAN CAREY, SECONDED BY MR.i HALLGREN TO REFUND
MR. HUTCHINSON $25.00.
CARRIED.
CHAIRMAN BALLOUGH WELCOMED MR. DERNBACH TO THE BOARD.
MR. DOMINIX AND VICE CHAIRMAN CAREY REGISTERED THE'SCORES IN THE
SCOREBOOK.
