MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY VICE CHAIRMAN LAMAN AT 7:30
P.M.

ALSO PRESENT: BRUCE COOPER, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT.
VICE CHAIRMAN LAMAN WELCOMED MR. NEUBERGER AS THE NEWLY
APPOINTED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR ON THE BOARD.
A RECESS WAS TAKEN AT 7:38 P.M. SO THAT THE BOARD COULD GO
OVER THE APPLICATIONS.
MEETING REOPENED AT 8:00 P.M. WITH ALL PRESENT.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
MOTION BY MR. DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. CAPP TO APPROVE THE
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD 9/13/88 AS WRITTEN.

OLD BUSINESS:
LANE vs MERCEDES
MR. COOPER TOLD THE BOARD THAT HE AND TOM FINNEY OF MERCEDES
HOMES MET AT MR. LANE'S HOME AND SPRAYED THE PORCH FOR ABOUT
15 MINUTES. THE ONLY LEAKAGE THAT OCCURRED WAS AT THE
THRESHOLD. THERE WERE NO OTHER LEAKS.
MR. COOPER FELT THE BOARD SHOULD HAVE MERCEDES GO BACK AND
RESET THE THRESHOLD.
MOTION BY MR. DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. GREENIDGE TO ASK THE
BOARD SECRETARY TO SEND A LETTER TO MERCEDES HOMES ASKING
THEM TO CONTACT MR. LANE TO FIX THE THRESHOLD LEAK IF MR.
LANE WILL COOPERATE.
CARRIED.
BASSI vs CLASSIC BUILDERS
MR. BASSI WAS PRESENT AT THE MEETING, MR. HUSSAIN WAS NOT.
MR. COOPER REMINDED THE BOARD THAT IT COULD DEAL ONLY WITH
CODE VIOLATIONS AND THAT THOSE VIOLATIONS HAD BEEN TAKEN CARE
OF. ANYTHING REMAINING WOULD BE A CIVIL MATTER.
FOLLOWING A LENGTHY DISCUSSION, THE FOLLOWING MOTION WAS MADE
AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY:
MOTION BY MR. DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. GREENIDGE TO CLOSE
THE BASSI vs CLASSIC BUILDERS, INC. COMPLAINT AND THAT A
LETTER BE SENT TO MR. BASSI TO THAT EFFECT, THAT IN VIEW OF
THE EVIDENCE PRESENTED, THE BOARD HAS TAKEN CARE OF ALL THAT
FALLS WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION AND THE OTHER MATTERS PRESENTED
NEED TO BE PURSUED THROUGH LEGAL MEANS.
CARRIED.
BUILDING OFFICIAL MATTERS:
THERE WAS A SHORT DISCUSSION REGARDING A STORAGE SHED BEING
CONSTRUCTED AT RIVERVIEW TRAILER PARK WHERE A TRAILER WAS
ONCE LOCATED. MR. COOPER ASKED FOR THE OPINION OF THE BOARD
IN REGARDS TO WIRING WITH CONDUIT FOR A COMMERCIAL BUiLDiNG.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT SINCE IT WAS ONLY GOING TO BE USED AS
A STORAGE SHED THAT CONDUIT WAS NOT REQUIRED.

IN THE CASE OF RICHARD MAXWELL, MR. COOPER REQUESTED A TEN
DAY EXTENSION BE GIVEN.
MR. COOPER EXPLAINED THAT MR. MAXWELL HAD COMPLIED AS FAR AS
ISSUING A PERMIT, BUT HE HAD NOT HAD A CHANCE TO VISUALLY
LOOK AT THE SITUATION.
MOTION BY MR. DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. CAPP TO GiVE MR.
MAXWELL A TEN DAY EXTENSION.
CARRIED.
QUALIFYING A NEW CORPORATION
TRUNDLE, JACK M./RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR
MR. COOPER INFORMED THE BOARD THAT ATTORNEY STONE WHO
REPRESENTS THE APPLICANT HAS REQUESTED THAT THIS BE CONTINUED
UNTIL NEXT MONTH. MR. COOPER ALSO REQUESTED THAT THIS BE
CONTINUED UNTIL THE NOVEMBER MEETING.
MOTION BY MR. DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. NEUBERGER TO HOLD
THIS ITEM OVER UNTIL THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING.
CARRIED.
DISCUSSION: IRRIGATION - STEPHEN STILWELL
MR. STILWELL PROVIDED A COPY OF THE NEW YORK STATE LAW
REGARDING WATER SAVING TECHNIQUES THAT WENT INTO EFFECT AS OF
OCTOBER 2, 1988.
VICE CHAIRMAN LAMAN REQUESTED THAT THIS DISCUSSION BE PUT ON
THE AGENDA FOR THE NOVEMBER MEETING.
TEST SCORES WERE REGISTERED BY MR. CAPP AND MR. DERNBACH.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS THE MEETING ADJOURNED AT 9:30
P.M.
