Huston Tripp and Clint Hale were absent. Ail otherlmembers present.
We had, at this meeting, City Attorney Buck Vocelle. We had asked him
to be present so that he could assist us ~Ith~_his legal interpretation
of the Ordinance. He assisted us quite well with the applications that
we did review.
Buck said that we would have to take each application'?on its own merit,
and, also, on an individual basis. He said to give the applicant the
benefit of the doubt, in his favor. Ail persons will have to show
saifsfactory evidence on the work performed. Any work in a contracting
capacity will qualify a person for a c~rtificate.
At this meeting, we had only approved one certificate. That was to
James Cash and he was grandfathered.~for a residential contractor's
license.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 31, 1978 at 9 a.m.
City Attorney, Buck~,Vocelle will be present with us so that we can
act on the other applications that are presenting such a prob!em
