A DISCUSSION FOLLOWED REGARDING THE SIGNING OF PERMIT CARDS AND THAT THIS PROCEDURE
IS NOT WORKING AS WELL AS IT SHOULD BE.
MOTION BY ED PALUCH, SECONDED BY JOHN CALMES, THAT WE LET THIS PROCEDURE STAND AS IS
UNTIL FURHTER INPUT IS RECEVED FROM THE PUBLIC IN WRITTEN FORM.
MOTION CARRIED.
MOTION BY ED PALUCH, SECONDED BY HOUSTON TRIPP, TO FORMALLY.'iACCEPT BLOCK AND ASSOCIATES
AS OPPOSED TO H & H BLOCK FOR ALL OF OUR TESTING.
MOTION CARRIED.
JIM HARRIS EXPLAINED THAT~EUGENE DOTY/ E. DOTY ELECTRIC WAS ORIGINALLY LICENSED UNDER
E.DOTY ELECTRIC AND AT.. THAT TIME HE HAD A QUALIFYING AGENT. WHEN HE WENT TO. THE
INDIAN RIVER COUNT. _ Y_ APPLYING FOR A LI_C. ENSE, HE INFORMED THEM THAT HIS BLOCK EXAM
DOCUMENTS WOULD FOLLOW..AND WHEN THEY DIDN'T THE COUNTY RECINDED HIS LICENSE AND NOTIFIED
THIS CITY. AFTER TALKING TO THE STATE, THE ELECTRICAL CATAGORY DOES NOT HAVE QUALIFIERS
FOR ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AND THAT THE LICENSE HAS TO BE ISSUED IN THE INDIVIDUALS
NAME. AT THE PRESENT TiME MR. TREMETERRA GAVE MR. EUGENE DOTY POWER OF ATTORNEY TO
PULL PERMITS AND ACT IN SOME CAPACITY. MR. HARRIS STATED THAT HE WAS NOTIFIED TODAY
BY THE ATTORNEY THAT UNLESS MR. DOTY WAS PART OF THE CORPORATION, THAT THIS POWER OF
ATTORNEY WOULD BE INVALID.
AFTER A LENGTHY DISCUSSION, IT WAS THE BOARDS RECOMMENDATION THAT MR. TREMETERRA
BE NOTIFIED THAT THE POWER ATTORNEY GIVEN TO MR. DOTY IS INVALID,LNDTi~N ACCORDANCE
WITH THE LAW AND CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AND COPIES OF HIS CORPORATE PAPER MUST BE SENT SHOWING
WHAT MR. DOTY IS PART OF HIS CORPROATION.
MR. HARRIS ALSO STATED THAT ALL LICENSES AND PERMITTING WILL BE DONE THROUGH MR.
TREMETERRA ONBY AND THAT A COPY OF THE RULES IN THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS LICENSING
BOARD, CHAPTERS 21 GG, PAGE #3, PARAGRAPH 1, DATED 9-82 BE MAILED.
MOTION BY DON LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY ED PALUCH, TO ADJOURN THIS MEETING .
MOTION CARRIED.
