Holdridge Meredith Fox Pierre Paquette(a) Scott Taylor ALSO PRESENT: Louis Nicolini Frank Garland, Jr. Andrew AIIocco Chuck Neuberger(a) Kathy Nappi, Secretary/Administrative Assistant Ann Brack, Recording Secretary APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION by NicolinilFox I'd make a motion to accept the minutes of the meeting of 11/14/00. A voice vote was taken. 7 - 0, motion carried. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Acting Chmn. Holdridge welcomed Chuck Neuberger(a) to the Board as a new member. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: EXPERIOR EXAM: 1. Wacha, 2752 Whippoorwill Lane, Vero Beach, FL was present and was sworn in by Acting 'Chmn. Holdridge at 7:09 pm. MOTION by Nicolini/Taylor Roll call: I'd make a motion that Mr. Wacha be approved to take the Experior test for tile and marble. WHITFIELD JR., PAUL I PAINTING Paul Whitfield, Jr., 4245 13th Place, Vero Beach, FL was present and was.sworn in by Acting Chmn. Holdridge at 7:12 pm. CONSTRUCTION BOARD MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF DECEMBER 12, 2000 4. MCKENNEY, BRIAN I BUILDING CONTRACTOR Brian McKenney, 8975 U.S. #1, Micco, FL was present and was sworn in by Acting Chmn. Holdridge at 7:15 pm. There was discussion between Board members and Mr. McKenney about his experience in Massachusetts. MOTION by Fox/Taylor I'll make a motion that the Board approve Brian V. McKenney to take the test for Building, with the contingency regarding providing the total of 4 yrs of experience, which would be one (1) more than what's right here in our packets, that when Mr. McKenney provides that through Kathy's help there that she discussed, that that's the contingency that when the experience is provided that he'll be able to go ahead and take the test, and one of the Board members will come in and sign off. Motion carried. 5. ORRIS, DAVID N. I JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN Acting Chmn. Holdridge noted that he has a conflict with this applicant as he is employed by Mr. Holdridge. There was discussion about this issue among B°ard members and it was determined that the prudent thing to do would be for the Acting Chairman to step down and submit a form 8-B. At this point, Louis Nicolini, as the senior Board member, sat as Acting Chairman. Neil Orris, 821 Lychee Drive, Barefoot Bay, FL was present and was sworn in bY Acting Chron. Nicolini at 7:27 pm. Mr, Ords was questioned on his work experience and educational background and he explained his departure from a previous job on bad terms. MOTION by AIIocco/Taylor I'd like to make a motion that we allow Mr. David Neil Orris to take the Experior Exam for Journeyman Electrical.
