NICHOLSON EXPLAINED THAT GUIDO WAS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR ON THE JOB BUT THE UNLICENSED SUBCONTRACTOR ON THE JOB WAS WORKING FOR ANOTHER SUBCONTRACTOR WHO WAS LICENSED AND WAS THE ONE HIRED BY GUIDO. PALMER, GREGORY/SEMBLER'S MARINA INDIAN RIVER DR. MR. PALMER AND MR. NICHOLSON WERE SWORN IN BY CHAIRMAN LAMAN:. MR. NICHOLSON GAVE A RUNDOWN ON THE CASE. MR. PALMER TOLD THE BOARD THAT ROBERT FLOOD, A FRIEND OF HIS HAD CALLED SAYING THAT ONE OF HIS ICE MACHINES WAS BROKEN DOWN AND THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY FREON. HE DID THIS ~NLY AS A FRIEND. IT WAS NOTED THAT MR. PALMER CURRENTLY HOLDS AN INACTIVE A/C & ELECTRICAL LICENSE. FINDINGS OF FACT MOTION BY MR. MILLER, SECONDED BY MR. COOPER TOLD THE BOARD THAT CITY .COUNCIL HAS QUEST'I~NED THE APPOINTMENTS OF BOARD MEMBERS ON THIS BOARD ON.THE' RESIDENCY CRITERIA. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RESIDENT OF SEBASTIAN TO BE A MEMBER BUT, YOU DO HAVE TO MEET TWO OF THE THREE REQUIREMENTS. MR. COOPER ASKED MR. HANEY IF HE WAS STILL WITHIN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN. MR. HANEY SAID YES THAT HE HAD MOVED HIS-LOCATION TO FISCHER TRADE CENTER. HIS LICENSE HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED AS OF YET. MR. COOPER ASKED THAT IT BE DONE TOMORROW. MR. HANEY SAID HE WOULD DO IT SOMETIME DURING THE WEEK. APPOINTMENT/REAPPOINTMENT OF A BOARD MEMBER CHAIRMAN LAMAN TOLD-THE BOARD THAT HE HAS SERVED THE BOARD JUST UNDER SIX YEARS. ACCORDING TO THE ATTORNEY~ JOHN IS ENTITLED TO BE REAPPOINTED IF THAT'S WHAT HE WANTED. HE SAID HE DID WANT TO SERVE A SECOND TERM. WAYNE TOZZOLO, GENERAL CONTRACTOR HAD TURNED I'N AN APPLICATION AND'WAS PRESENT AT THE MEETING TO SPEAK TO THE BOARD. MR. TOZZOLO TOLD THE BOARD THAT HAD HE KNOWN THAT MR. L'AMAN COULD SERVE ANOTHER TERM, HE WOULD NOT HAVE APPLIED. HE FELT IT WOULD BE WRONG TO TRY TO TAKE JOHN'S PLACE. SMITH THAT THIS SHOULD GO BACK BEFORE THE'CITY COUNCIL, THAT ~OHN LAMAN BE REAPPOINTED AS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR A REGULAR TERM OF THREE YEARS ON THE CONSTRUCTt~ON BOARD DUE TO THE FACT~?THAT JOHN IS ELIGIBLE. ATTORNEY~ NONE DISCUSSION: EXTERIOR HARDBOARD SIDING PRODUCTS IT WAS NOTED THAT OTHER AREAS ARE HAViNG-PROBLEMS WITH- THIS MATERIAL AND HAVE PUT A BAN ON IT. ~HERE HAVE BEEN NO PROBLEMS IN THIS AREA. 15 MINUTES TO PUBLIC ROBERT J. PLISKA SPOKE IN REGARDS TO A "HANDYMAN" LICENSE. HE TOLD THE BOARD THAT HE HAD APPLIED FOR THIS TYPE OF LICENSE AND THAT HE HAD RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THAT THE THINGS HE LISTED HE WOULD BE DOING, WERE ALL TESTED TRADES. FOLLOWING A LENGTHY DISCUSSION, MR. COOPER SAID HE. COULD HANDLE IT ALL WITH A RESIDENTIAL LICENSE. SCORES WERE REGISTERED IN THE SCORE BOOK BY MR. ENLOW AND MR. J. SMITH. THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, THE MEETING ADJOURNED AT 10:15 P.M.
