The Pledge of Allegiance was said. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Chron. Cecrle VC Michael Herbig EXCUSED ABSENCE: ALSO PRESENT: Michael Holdridge Andrew AIIocco Louis Nicolini, Meredith Fox, Pierre Paquette(a), Scott Taylor Kathy Nappi, Licensing Rich Stringer, City Attorney Ann Brack, Recording Secretary APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION by Holdddge/AIIocco i'd like to make a motion to accept the minutes of November 9th, 1999°s regular meeting. A voice vote was taken. 4 - 0 motion carried. NEW BU,,,.SlNESS: EXPERIOR EXAM: 1. Moran, Michael J. I Tile & Marble Michael Moran was present and was sworn in by Chmn. Cecrle at 7:06 P.M. ~ by Holdridge/Herbig I'd like to make a r~otion that Michael J. Moran be eligible to take the Tile and Marble Experior exam. Roll call: Michael Holdddge - yes Chmn. Cecrle - yes VC Michael Herbig - yes Andrew AIIocco - yes The vote was 4 - 0. Motion carried. CONSTRUCTION BOARD MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF DECEMBER 14, 1999 2. Rugani, Bruce A. I Air Conditioning Class "B" Bruce Rugani was present and was sworn in by the Chairman at 7:08 P.M. MOTION by AIIocco/Holdridge I'd like to make a motion that Mr. Rugani be allowed to take the Class "B" A/C Experior exam. Roll call: Chmn. Cecrle - yes VC Michael Herbig - yes . Michael Holdddge - yes Andrew AIIocco - yes · The vote was 4 - 0. Motion carried. 3. Boucher, Jeffrey J. I Irrigation Jeffrey Boucher was present and was sworn in by the Chairman at 7:11 P.M. MOTIONby Herbig/AIIocco I'd like to make a motion that John Boucher be allowed to take the Experior exam for Irrigation. Roll call: VC Michael Herbig - yes Chmn. Cecde - yes Michael Holdridge - yes Andrew AIIocco The vote was 4 - 0. Motion carded. 4. Collins, Scott A. BOARD MATTERS; Discussion: City Attorney Rich Stringer Atty. Stringer Gave a presentation on Board responsibilities including the Sunshine Law, conflict of interest, and what information needs to be included in a motion. He also noted that the "Order' does not have to contain verbatim information, just a summary of action by the Board. 2 CONSTRUCTION BOARD MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF DECEMBER 14, 1999 Mr. AiIocco inquired about the possibility of having Kathy Nappi attend the Board meetings. Ms. Nappi suggested that licensing fees and the Code need to be reviewed by this Board in the near futura. It was suggested that a survey of local cities or counties be done for comparison. It was also noted that a workshop meeting could be scheduled for this review, and the Chairman suggested that this issue be put on the agenda for the January, 2000 meeting for discussion.
