CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, TOM PALMER, CITY ATTORNEY.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - NOVEMBER 18, 1987
MOTION BY MR. MCCOOL, SECONDED BY MR. LINDSEY TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF
REGULAR MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 18, 1987 AS WRITTEN.
CARRIED.
OLD BUSINESS:
CASE NO. 87-528 - BREVARD ROOFING, INC.
MR. COOPER TOLD THE BOARD THAT A DEADLINE OF DECEMBER 2, 1987 WAS GIVEN
FOR BREVARD ROOFING TO COME IN AND PULL A AFTER. THE FACT PERMIT. TO DATE
NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE. THE FINE BEGAN AS OF DECEMBER 3, 1987.
ATTORNEY LULICH NOTED THAT AN ORDER WAS SIGNED BY CHAIRMAN BLOME AND A COPY
WOULD BE SENT TO BREVARD ROOFING.
NEW BUSINESS:
CASE NO. 87-664 - JUDSON
MRS. JUDSON WAS PRESENT AT THE MEETING.
ATTORNEY LULICH SWORE IN MRS. JUDSON, MR. COOPER AND MR. EMRICK.
MR. EMRICK TOLD THE BOARD THAT THE COMPLAINT HAD COME FROM PUBLIC WORKS
IN REGARD TO A BLOCKED SWALE. SAND HAD BEEN DUMPLEDIN THE SWALE. WHEN
IT WAS CHECKED OUT A BOAT WAS OBSERVED PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY. THE SWALE
WAS CLEANED OUT. AS OF TODAY, THE BOAT IS STILL THERE.
MOTION BY VICE CHAIRMAN O'CONNOR, SECONDED BY MR. MCCOOL WITH REFERENCE
TO CASE NO. 87-664, MR. AND MRS. CHARLES JUDSON THAT THE BOARD MAKE THE
FOLLOWING DETERMINATION: THE FINDING OF FACT THAT THERE IS A BOAT PARKED
IN THE DRIVEWAY AT 361 EASY STREET IN VIOLAITON OF CODE AND THAT AN ORDER
OF ENFORCEMENT IS THAT THE BOAT SHOULD BE MOVED BY MIDNIGHT, SUNDAY,
DECEMBER 20TH OR A FINE OF $25.00 PER DAY WILL BEGIN.

BOARD ATTORNEY REQUESTS AND REPORTS:

ATTORNEY LULICH PASSED OUT TWO NEW FORMS. THE SHORT FORM WILL BE USED BY
THE STAFF TO GiVE THE BOARD AS THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A PROPOSED MOTION
ON ANY VIOLATION.
HE ALSO DISCUSSED THE NEWLY TYPED NOTICE OF VIOLATION HEARING FORM. SOME
CHANGES WERE MADE. IT WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE JANUARY MEETING TO GIVE
THE BOARD A CHANCE TO GO OVER IT.
A SUGGESTION WAS MADE BY ATTORNEY PALMER WHICH WAS INAUDIBLE.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER DISCUSSION, MEETING ADJOURNED AT 2:38 P.M.
