Event Date Question Deadline Apr 25, 2025 Response Due May 8, 2025 Tentative Council Award May 28, 2025 SOLICITATION QUESTIONS •All questions must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Division. •All questions,modifications to the solicitation specifications, or changes in the solicitation due date will be addressed by an addendum posted on VendorLink. CONE OF SILENCE •City council members and city staff,except the procurement representative,shall not be contacted regarding this bid. •The no-contact period shall commence on the initial date of the advertisement (4/10/25)and continue through and include the date the city council decides to approve or reject the award (tentatively scheduled for 5/28/2025). •Failure to comply with this requirement may be grounds for disqualification. ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW •Bid Submittal •All submittals are due electronically via VendorLink. •The link to register to receive solicitations is below: •Https://www.myvendorlink.com/external/home •Submittals sent by mail,facsimile,electronic mail, telephone,or any other means will not be accepted. ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW •Authorized Signature •Each bid submittal must include the signature of an officer or employee with the authority to bind the contractor in the space(s)provided. •If the individual is not listed on Sunbiz.org as an approved signatory for the Corporation,a Corporate Resolution shall be provided. TECHNICAL REVIEW •Contractor shall provide tree trimming,pruning, removal,stump grinding,and stump removal services at various locations within the City as needed. •NOTE:Most of the work will be tree trimming and tree removal from canals and ditches. TECHNICAL REVIEW TREE TRIMMING SPECIFICATIONS CANAL AND DITCH TREE TRIMMING •This work consists of removing fallen trees,drifting logs,and overgrown vegetation on an as-needed basis within canals and ditches throughout the City of Sebastian. TECHNICAL REVIEW Special Requirements: •The Contractor’s employees are expected to obey all traffic regulations and have at least one (1) employee on-site with Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Course (M.O.T.) training per FDOT. •The contractor will be called to do work in areas not accessible via paved roadways. A four-wheel-drive vehicle, barge, or boat may be required. TECHNICAL REVIEW CONTRACTOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •At least 3 (three) years of verifiable experience. •A minimum of one (1) staff member who is Certified Intermediate M.O.T. per Section 2.4.6. •A minimum of one (1) arborist who is certified by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) or the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). TECHNICAL REVIEW CONTRACTOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •Contractor or subcontractor must possess a Florida aquatic pesticide license and Florida right -of-way pesticide license from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and have the ability to identify invasive plant species on the Florida Exotic Plant County Category I and Category II plant lists. •A minimum of one (1) crew with sufficient crew composition and size to meet all safety standards MINIMUM EQUIPMENT Equipment Quantity Chipper with truck 2 Log or dump truck 2 Deep cut stump grinder 1 Portable stump grinder 1 Bucket truck 2 4-Wheel drive vehicle 1 Boat or barge to access canals 1 ANY QUESTIONS?
