HomeMy WebLinkAboutCHAPTER #202BORDINANCE NO. CHAPTER NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE .NO. 202,. AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN,. FLORIDA WHEREAS,' the Zoning Commission of the City of Sebastian, Florida, .did, after due and diligent consideration, .propose certain changes in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sebastian which said changes' were formally considered at a public hearing with respect ther.eto by said Commission after due public notice thereof, and WHEREAS, the recommendations of the Commission were sub- mitted to the .City Council for its consideration, .and WHEREAS, .the City Council did hOld a public hearing with respect to said proposed changes after due public notice thereof after which said Council did consider the proposed changes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, that Paragraph B of Section V (R-2 Multiple Family District) be amended as follows: "B. BUILDING .SITE AND :FLOOR AREA: REQUIRED, For the following specified uses every lot .or parcel of land shall provide a land area for each family unit of at least the amount indicated: Square Foot 'Area of Living QUarters Number 'of Dwelling.s. Pe:r:F.amily: Unit' Square Foot Land Area Required Per Family Unit' on Ground F.loor One Family (Minimum Frontage. to be 60 feet) Two Family Three Family Four Family Five Family Six Family Seven Family or over 720 700 400 400 . 400. 400 400 6,000 5,000 2,500 2,.5.00 2,500 2,500 1,000 L, B. VERO BEAfJII, FLORIDA Where a lot has an area less than the above required minimum and was of record at the..time ~of the.'effeCtive date of any ordinance with this requirement, said lot may be used provided all set backs and land area requirements of this zone ~are observed. In computing the floor space .as provided above, the areas occupied by porches, patios,~ .terraceS,· attached garages, car- ports or non-roofed areas shall be 'excluded." Ail other provisions of 0rdiance No. 202, .as amended, shall not be modified or abridged in any way by this 'ordinance but shall remain in full force and effeCt. All ordinances 'or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with or inconsistent with the Provisions 'of this ordinance, are hereby repealed. All other proviaions of Ordiance 'No. 202, shall not be modified or abridged in any way by but shall remain in full force aha effect.
