CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0-87-10 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THREE PARCELS OF LAND: PARCEL A BEING PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 31 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST; AND PARCEL B PARTS ONE AND TWO BEING THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER AND THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER AND OTHER ADJACENT LANDS ALL IN SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 31 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST; AND PARCEL C PARTS ONE AND TWO BEING THE NORTHWEST ONE QUARTER OF THE NORTHEWST ONE QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST ONE QUARTER AND THE SOUTH ONE-HALF OF THE NORTHWEST ONE QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST ONE QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST ONE QUARTER, ALL OF PARCEL C BEING IN SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 31 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST; ALL SUCH PROPERTY BEING WEST OF THE FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY AND WEST OF WHISPERING PALMS MOBILE VILLAGE AND CONSISTING OF 150.654 ACRES, MORE OR LESS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the sole owners of those certain parcels of land described hereinafter and in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, have petitioned the City of Sebastian to voluntarily annex said lands into the City of Sebastian, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the said area proposed to be annexed is contiguous to the City of Sebastian and will not result in the creation of any enclave, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the area proposed to be annexed constitutes a reasonable compact addition to the incorporated territory of the City of Sebastian, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the annexation of said property is in the best interests of the City of Sebastian. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I That the following described property, now lying and being in unincorporated Indian River County, Florida, is hereby annexed into the City of Sebastian, Florida, and the boundary lines of said city are hereby redefined to include such property, which is described as follows: PARCEL A: All that part of the N.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of S.20. SECTION II This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon becoming law and said property shall be subject to all laws, ordin- ances, and resolutions now in force, or hereafter adopted by the City of Sebastian, in accordance with Florida law. This Ordinance supercedes prior Ordinance 0-87-10.
