A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING THE COST OF DUPLICATION OF COPIES
OF PUBLIC RECORDS.
'WHEREAS, Section 119.07, Florida Statutes, subsections
(1)(a) and (1)(b), provide for the allowable costs that may be
charged for the service of duplication of copies of public records, and
WHEREAS, the City of SebaStian, Florida, has determined that
the actual costs to produce copies of public records in the normal
course and normal amounts of copies amount to the sum of ten cents
per copy,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by'the City Council of the
City of Sebastian, Florida, as follows:
1. The city shall charge the sum of ten cents per copy
for the duplication of public records provided such duplication
does not require extensiVe clerical or supervisory assistance.
2. When the nature or volume of the duplication of public
records is such as to require extensive clerical or supervisory
assistance by personnel of the City, the City shall charge, in
addition to the ten cents, per copy, a reasonable charge, which shall
be based on the actual salary rate of such personnel providing the
service.
3. This Resolution 'shall take effect upon its enactment.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
by the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, on the /3~
day of June, 1984.
