A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, PRO-
VIDING FOR THE LEVY OF AD VALOREM TAXES FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR OF 1985-1986.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
The City of Sebastian, Florida, shall levy a general ad valorem
tax of 4.9972 mills upon each One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars of all
real and tangible personal property within the City Limits subject to
taxation on the First day of January, 1986, to finance current operating
expenses of the City. The tax shall be assessed and collected in the
manner provided by law. The millage rate levied hereby does not exceed
the rolled-back rate computed pursuant to Section 200.065(1), of the
Florida Statutes.
SECTION II
It shall be the duty of the Finance Director of the City of Sebastian
to deposit the proceeds from the tax levy into a separate account as pro-
vided by law and to keep such account and make payments from it as shall
from time-to-time be directed by the City Council.
SECTION III
This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its Final Passage.

THIS RESOLUTION was read for the first time on the ~ ~_~ day
of September, 1985, and was advertised in the ~ ~-$$ ~o~~
on the ~f~~day of September, 1985, for a Public Hearing to be
held on the 18th day of September, 1985. At a Special Called Meeting,
after Notice, the foregoing Resolution was moved for adoption by
Council person /~/~'W ~ ~4 and was seconded by Council person
~~ ~q ~5 and was adopted by a vote of ~ votes for
its passage and ~ votes against its passage.
