A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, ADDING
A NEW JOB DESCRIPTION TITLED "ACCOUNT CLERK II" TO PART
V OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Council hereby approves a new Job
Description titled "Account Clerk II" as submitted by the Mayor
in accordance with Ordinance 0-84-16,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Job Description for "Account Clerk II" attached
hereto and made a part hereof is hereby approved and adopted
by the City of Sebastian.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to add to the bottom
of the said Job Description the following: "Adopted by Resolution
No. ~- ~'3~, effective ~ ~ ,1986." and to dis-
tribute copies of the said Job Description to the Mayor, City
Council Members, and Department Heads for inclusion in Part V
of their copies of the Standard Operating Procedures.
This Resolution shall be effective on
,1986.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this Resolution was passed by the
City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida on the ~

ACCOUNT CLERK II
Major Function:
To perform all phases of bookkeeping ss required.
Ill ustrati ve Duties:
Maintain manual records for small enterprise funds. Prepare
monthly operating statements on such funds. Maintain inventory of
fixed assets. Prepares bank reconciliations of General Fund and
Golf Course Enterprise Fund. Maintains General Journal for
General Fund and Golf Course Enterprise Fund. Perform such other
bookkeeping procedures as shall be required.
Minimum Qualification:
Knowledge, Ability & Skills - Extensive knowledge of book-
keeping fundamentals, office practice and procedures. Knowledge
of computer usage. Typing ability.
Training_&. Experienc~- Two years of College or High School
Graduate with five (5) years bookkeeping and business experience.
This Job Description was adopted by Resolution No. R~86-37, effective
August 6, 1986.
