R-97-65 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO GREENS FEES AND GOLF CART FEES AT THE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE; CONTINUING AN ANNUAL SCHEDULE OF GREENS FEES AND GOLF CART FEES; CONTINUING A NEW SCHEDULE OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES; AUTHORIZING THE GOLF COURSE MANAGER TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE HOURS AND CONDITIONS UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES; AUTHORIZING THE GOLF COURSE MANAGER TO ADJUST THE SUMMER FEE SCHEDULE WITHIN THE SPECIAL RANGE FOR MARKETING PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING THE GOLF COURSE MANAGER TO ADJUST THE RATIO OF TEE-TIMES RESERVATION BETWEEN MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution R-96-79 establishing golf course fees for fiscal year 1996-1997; WHEREAS, the golf course desires to establish annual golf course fees for subsequent years; and WHEREAS, there are no proposed changes in the rates for golf course fees as established by Resolution R-96-79. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: ~F~.L~LQ~. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP RATES. Commencing October 1, 1997, the annual membership fees for the Sebastian Municipal Golf Course shall be as follows: ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES Sebastian Resident Membership Fee Family $ 850.00 Single $ 600.00 Membership Fee Family $1,050.00 Single $ 800.00 Family membership means a married couple residing together and all dependents living at home under the age of twenty-one (21) years. Proof of residency is required to obtain Sebastian Resident rates. All new memberships are subject to a two hundred ($200.00) dollar initiation fee. (This is a one time non-refundable fee.) Bag Storage (Single Per Bag) (Double Per Bag) $ 40.00 $ 80.00 Foot Locker $ 15.00 Ail of the above are subject to a 7% sales tax. The hours and conditions set forth in Sections Two and Three may be adjusted at the discretion of the Golf Course Manager, due to amount of play and area competitive conditions. The Golf Course Manager is authorized to establish the rate within the approved range due to amount of play and area competitive conditions. The Manager is authorized to advertise, and/or promote use of the Golf Course within the promotions budget account. ~ TEE-TIME RESERVATIONS. The ratio of reserved tee-times between members and non-members will be one member tee-time reservation to one non-member reservation. The Golf Course Manager may adjust this ratio for marketing purposes to stimulate additional play or to reflect changing conditions. ~?~7,.2~3~J.~ REPEAL. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are repealed. I~C,~]3~. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall take effect on October 1, 1997 and continues in effect unless changed by Resolution of the City Council of Sebastian, Florida.
