CONSTRUCTION BOARD
MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 8, 2003
Vice Chairman Nicolini called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting of 3/l 1/03
MOTION by Taylor/Wolfe
I make a motion that the Board approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting Held
3/11/03.
A voice vote was taken. 6 - 0, motion carried.
V.C. Nicolini introduced Mr. Gilligan, alternate, to the Board.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS: EXPERIOR EXAM
Kophazy, Keith/Building Contractor
V.C. Nicolini swore in Mr. Kophazy.
During a brief discussion concerning Mr. Kophazy's experience, it was noted that there
was insufficient experience in regards to a building contractor. Mr. Taylor felt the
application should be modified to a residential contractor. Mr. Kophazy had no problem
with making that change.
MOTION by Taylor/Schmitz
I make a motion that the Board approve Keith Kophazy to take the Experior Exam for
residential contractor based on the fact that he has modified his application to take the
residential contractor test.

Fretwell, Randall/Carpentry
V.C. Nicolini swore in Mr. Fretwell.
MOTION by Taylor/Houston
I make a motion the Board approve Randall Fretwell to take the Experior Exam for
Carpentry.

Accario, Thomas/Painting
V.C. Nicolini swore in Mr. Accario.
MOTION by Taylor/Garland
I make a motion that the Board approve Thomas Accario to take the Experior Exam for
Painting.
ROLL CALL: Mr. Taylor - yes Mr. Garland - yes
Mr. Schmit - yes
Motion carried 6 - 0.

Blair Sr., James/Painting
V.C. Nicolini swore in Mr. Blair.
Mr. Garland noted that Mr. Blair had signed his own verification of experience form.
Mr. Blair explained that he and his wife owned and did maintenance on 38 family rentals.
He did all of the painting himself. He also included a letter from a paint company he had
done business with.
MOTION by Taylor/Schmitz
I make a motion that we approve Mr. Blair to take the painting exam contingent upon his
supplying a letter from a fellow contractor corroborating his testimony at this meeting in
regards to his experience as a painting contractor.

Sayre, George/Painting
V.C. Nicolini swore in Mr. Sayre.
It was noted that the verification page in the application was not in the folder and the
letter signed by John F. Auger, painting contractor did not show Mr. Auger's license
number.
A motion made by Mr. Garland died from lack ora second. (Motion was inaudible.)
MOTION by Taylor/Schmitz
I make a motion that the Board postpone consideration of the application until the proper
application forms are completely filled and submitted to the Board.

V.C. Nicolini noted that Mr. Sayre would be at the May 13th meeting with the proper
paperwork.

Mr. Perryman was swore in by V.C. Nicolini.

I make a motion that the Board approve Mr. Perryman to take the Experior Exam for
Roofing Unltd.

Mr. Parsons was sworn in by V.C. Nicolini.

I make a motion that the Board approve Mr. Parsons to take the Experior Exam for
Roofing Unltd.
