CONSTRUCTION BOARD
REGULAR MEETING - JUNE 10, 2003
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Fox at 7:00 P.M.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
ROLL CALL: Present: V.C. Nicolini Mr. Garland

Absent: Mr. Wolfe - excused
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting of 5/13/03
MOTION by Taylor/Garland
I make a motion that the Board approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held 5/13/03.
A voice vote was taken. 7 - 0, motion carried.
The Board Secretary noted that Mr. Gilligan would be voting in the absence of Mr.
Wolfe.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: Experior Exam
Heen, Ronnie/Tile & Marble
Chmn. Fox swore in Mr. Heen.
Mr. Heen explained the information that was added to the packet. (Inaudible)
Mr. Broadhurst was sworn in by Chmn. Fox.
Mr. Broadhurst explained that he was Mr. Heen's father-in-law as well as his tax advisor.
Mr. Taylor asked why none of the tax forms were signed. Mr. Broadhurst told the Board
that the tax returns were electronically signed and filed. The rest of what was said was
inaudible.
Mr. Heen noted that he had attempted by sending the verification of experience to both
Tomlinson Tile and Carpet and Tile Warehouse by certified mail. He said the letters
were not returned. He felt he had made an honest attempt to satisfy the Board.
Mr. Broadhurst stated that it was very clear that Ron was an employee for Tomlinson Tile
for two years. He also was very clearly and legally an employee when he worked for
Carpet and Tile Warehouse. Taxes and social security were taken out.
Chmn. Fox interjected that the Board required verification forms from employers and
they must be notarized. She felt the Board still had not gotten to that point.
The Board Secretary noted that W-2 forms had been provided, not 1099's which are give
to contractors. Mr. Taylor agreed there were W-2 forms but that this does not verify
supervisory experience.
Mr. Heen noted that it showed him as a sutpervisor on some of his pay stubs.
MOTION by V.C. Nicoline/Schmitz
I make a motion that Mr. Heen be allowed to take the Exper/or Exam for Tile and Marble
based on his willingness to try to provide us with the necessary information and it is
shown here that he was unable to get it and that I feel he has the experience.

I make a motion to approve Wayne Hemighaus to take the Experior Exam for A/C "A".
