BOARD MATTERS: Discussion: R. Glenn Walker/Electrical Contractor
The Board Secretary read into the minutes (see attached) a letter from Mr. Walker stating
that he would not be perusing an Electrical Contractor License with the City of Sebastian.
She explained that she had spoken to the City Attorney who said the Board could not go
after a person that did not hold a license, that it was dead in the water.
As far as the contractor who verified Mr. Walker's experience is concerned, because we
can't take action against Mr. Walker, to leave it alone for the present time. Brevard
County has already revoked Mr. Walker's Journeyman License, that there would be a
heating in August and that a complaint was being made to the State against the contractor
who did the verification.
She told the Board Mr. Walker had already taken the Electrical Contractor Exam
sponsored by the Board, but according to his letter he was not going to pursue the
License.
Motion by Nicolini/Wolfe
I make a motion that we postpone any further action on Complete Electric until our
August Board Meeting until we find out what happened at the Brevard County Meeting.
It was noted that there was no date for the August meeting in the paperwork given to the
Board.
It was decided that if Brevard County had their meeting after ours, that we would deal
with this matter at our September Meeting.
