. 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Board Secretary read the following to the board members:
"Per the City Attorney, the language directed by City Council following the July 2002 workshop is
being forwarded to the Planning and Zoning board for review and hearing. If the Tree Advisory
Board has any further recommendations to revise that language, they should so state in the form
of a memo. Further, Chairman Fulton, who cannot be here recommended that each member
spend five minutes and give their recommendation to any revisions of the LDC. Then the full
membership present tonight should make a motion for the recommended action or the board can
amend the agenda and place this item on the agenda for June 2003 when the Chairman and
absent board member will be present and there is a full board.
The board secretary also mentioned that if board members want to express their recommendations on a
person by person basis they can attend the P&Z meeting and give their recommendations.

B. Homeowners Packet & Tree Summary
Vice Chairman Cardinale stated that he invited Janice Broda to sit in on this board meeting to help
with the tree summary list. He further stated that all the list submitted would be too much and the
board needs to narrow it down. He noted that Henry Madsen's list is nicely set up and short enough.
Anne Dann and John Almada also submitted a list and it was discussed by the board what trees,
shrubs and plants should be included. Further discussion concluded that 30-40 items for the entire
list is sufficient; more than that is too much for the homeowner to handle. The list should be
something that the homeowner can identify with. (Please see completed list attached)
