Recreation Advisory Committee
June 23, 2003
Called to order by the Chairman:
Roll Call: The following members were present
William Ingui, Wayne Leboeuf, absent.Jeanne Jessup, absen�Jayne Barczyk,
Jessica Keaton, Elizabeth Gray, Alternate, absent
Staff members present were Linda Kinchen, Recording Secretary, Chris McCarthy, Parks
Superintendent
Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve the minutes of the May 19`h, 2003 was made
by Mrs. Barcyzk second Mrs. Keaton Passed unanimously.
Old Business: Chairman explains his report and asks if there are any changes or
corrections. There are none. The committee feels a brochure or information in the news
letter to residents should be done. Also suggested the information go on the website or on
Channel 25 and ask people to come to the meetings.
Chairman asks Chris McCartthy for zone updates on fees collected and spent. He will
bring to the next meeting.
New Business: The new business was tabled to be discussed at the next meeting since
several of the new members where not present. The next meeting will be on July 28`h at
SPM.
Member Comments: Mrs. Keaton would like to see seesaws and sand boxes at some of
the neighborhood parks. Chris to bring drawings to the next meeting for the municipal
park, Riverview park and Filbert Street park.
Mrs. Barczyk would like St Johns Engineer to come to the August meeting to tell about
the Stormwater Park.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 PM
