R-02-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A MILLAGE RATE OF 4.5904 MILLS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2002 AND ALLOCATING SAME TO THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2002 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2003; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCiL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: Section 1. MILLAGE RATE LEVY. There is hereby Levied an Ad Valorem Tax of FOUR AND FIVE NINE ZERO FOUR THOUSANDTHS (4.5904) MILLS against all real and tangible personal property for the calendar year (January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002) and the resulting tax revenue is hereby appropriated for the General Operating Fund of the City of Sebastian for the fiscal year beginning October, 1, 2002 and ending September 30, 2003. Section 2. ROLLED-BACK RATE. The tax rate established in Section 1. is 1.98% higher than the computed "rolled-back" tax rate of 4.5013 mills. Section 3. CONFLICT. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE. immediately upon its adoption.
