A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA,
REAFFIRMING AND ADOPTING THE MAXIMUM
STORMWATER UTILITY RATE OF $4.00 PER MONTH
PER EQUIVALENT RESIDENTIAL UNIT; ADOPTING THE
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1,
2002 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2003; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, City Council adopted Ordinance No. O-01-16, establishing a
Stormwater Utility; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. O-01-16 established the maximum stormwater
utility rate of $4.00 per month per Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU); and
WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian expanded its boundaries via annexation
during the current year resulting in the necessity to adopt the assessment roll for
the stormwater utility fee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, that:
Seetion l. MAXIMUM STORMWATER UTILITY RATE. The
maximum stormwater utility rate is reaffirmed and adopted at four dollars ($4.00) per
month per equivalent residential unit for the collection year October 1, 2002 through
September 30, 2003 as provided in Sebastian Code of Ordinances Section 102-125.
Section 2. ASSESSMENT ROLL. The assessment roll for the fiscal year
October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003, as provided to the Indian River County
Property Appraiser's office is hereby adopted.
Section 3. CONFLICT. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE.
