HomeMy WebLinkAboutWording to the Tax CodingThe board of c. ounty ~omlnissiou~rs of Indiau t{iver County, That iitsolution ?~o. 68-S relating to Indian Rive,' tSounty animals is herewith at',,¢nded in the following respects, to-wit: (a) Add to the end of section I the following: Every such i>erson, firm or corporation shah securely and pern,anently affix said collar or harness to and maintain the same on each such dog and shall affix and maintain the license tag hereinafter descril~ed for thc current year for such dog to said collar or harness in order that each such dog shall continuously display such license tag." (b) In 3action 3, wherever the words, "County Adminlstra- tot" appear, insert in lieu thereof the words,"Indian River County Tax Collector." (c) Add a section following :~ection 4 to become ~ection 5 - and by re numbering all of the subsequent sections, which said additional section shall be as follows: "5. In the event any license tag is lost or desJ troyed, every such owner, keeper, person, firm or corporation owning, possessing, harboring, keeping or n;aintainln$ any dog duly licensed for the current year shall make application for a duplicate license tag to the Indian River County Tax Collector, who will issue a duplicate in the same manner in which the original was issued. The fee fo~' a duplicate license tag shall be one- half of the fee which would have been charged if the application had been for an original annual license tag." 2.
