Sebastian Police Department Accreditation Process Please find the attached memorandum as compiled and delivered by Chief Randy White, which provides an update relative to the ,S~bastian Police Department's (SPD) Accreditation process. As discuss~during last summer's budget workshops, state accreditation will require SPD to operate within specific guidelines, which will increase the department's ability to prevent and control crime through more effective and efficient delivery of law enforcement services to the City of Sebastian. Overall, such designation in our community will encourage enhanced professionalism, excellence, and competence, which makes this initiative a worthwhile endeavor.
