MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 1, 2004
Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 7:02 P.M.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Dorri Bosworth, Zoning Technician
Susan Lorusso, Secretary
Chmn Smith congratulated Mr. Keough on his appointment to a full seat. He welcomed
Mr. John Oakes as an alternate member and announced that Mr. Blessing has
submitted his resignation due to health reasons. Mr. AIIocco is excused and Messrs.
Simmons and Oakes will be voting.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: 3/04/04
MOTION by Faitle/Keough

A voice vote was taken. Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS:
QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
- NEW MODEL HOME - TOZZOLO BROTHERS - 1258 BARBER
STREET
Chron. Smith opened the public hearing at 7:04 p.m. Mr. Wayne Tozzolo, 3315 Meredith
Way presented the application. This model is located across the street from existing
models by Tozzolo Brothers. It is their intention to build a second new model home and
close the two existing ones. Ms. Bosworth reported that in the twelve years Tozzolo
Brothers have had model homes on Barber Street there have never been any violations

or complaints. Staff recommends approval. Mr. Mahoney confirmed with Mr. Tozzolo
that the sign would be 1' X 5'. The hearing was closed at 7:06 p.m.
MOTION by Seeley/Simmons
make a motion we approve the conditional use permit for a new model home for
Tozzolo Brothers at 1258 Barber Street."

QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT -
MODEL HOME RENEWAL - BURGEON BERGER CONSTRUCTION -
1134 BARBER STREET
Chmn Smith opened the hearing at 7:07 p.m. Ms. Bosworth reported that there have
been no violations or complaints against this model home and staff recommends
approval for the renewal. The hearing was closed at 7:10 p.m.
MOTION by Oakes/Keough
"1 make a motion we approve the conditional use permit [for a model home renewal,
Burgeon Berger Construction at 1134 Barber Street]."

CHAIRMAN MATTERS:
Chmn Smith asked about the status of the former Carpenter's Building. Ms. Bosworth
said the survey change affected the septic and the revisions will be reviewed in house by
zoning and engineering.
MEMBER MATTERS:
Mr. Mahoney asked about fill brought on to a property behind Papa John's. Ms.
Bosworth said she would pass this inquiry on to Mr. Hass. He also asked about two
piles of sand by Laconia and CR512. Ms. Bosworth said code enforcement has been
working on that issue. Mr. Keough inquired about the re-write of the comprehensive plan
and Ms. Bosworth said Iler Planning Group would be presenting this to the commission
in the near future. Mr. Mahoney asked for a definition of what constitutes a water body
and Ms. Bosworth said she would pass that on to Mr. Hass to respond.
