CITIIZENS BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE MINUTES
July 11,2002
The Citizens Budget Advisory Review Committee Meeting convened at 6:00 p.m.
The following membem were present:

Staff Members present:
Sally Grunzweig, Recording Secretary, Mark Mason, Director of Finance.
New Business: Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman.

Members of the Budget Advisory Committee had few questions about the early draft of the
Pr0posed Fiscal 2002-2003 Budget Expenditures under the proposed budget stands at $14.65
million. Director of Finance, Mark Mason said project outlays for the capital'improvements still
chave'te~be includecl. An estimate is about $3 million. Mr. Mason has already cut about $1
', ,milti0n;' The City's general fund will increase by about $971,000. A large portion of the
increase is due to the rising personnel costs. An estimated 20% increase in health insurance
premiums and workmens' compensations premiums.
