A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE STATE
OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS DISASTER RELIEF
FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR HURRICANE FRANCES; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL OF RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with City Charter Section 3.04 (g) by direction of the
Council, the City Manager may sign all contracts, bonds, debentures, franchises and official
documents on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Disaster Relief Funding Agreements for Federal and State assistance for
Hurricane Frances have been submitted to the City for execution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authorization. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to
execute the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs Disaster Relief Funding
Agreement.
Section 2. All resolutions or parts ofresohitions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.

The Mayor thereupon declared this Resolution duly passed and adopted this 17th day of
November 2004.
