R-05-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH FDOT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation has agreed to provide funding for security improvements; and WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian agrees to certain conditions to such funding; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, as follows: Section 1. AUTHORIZATION. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT Project No. 236232-1-94-01, entitled "Security Improvements" on behalf of the City. Section 2. CONFLICTS. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Resolution was moved for adoption by Councilmember Monier .
