NO. g-g&-l.1 RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, GRANTING A RATE INCREASE TO HARRIS SANITATION, INC., AS A RESULT OF THE INCREASE IN LAND FILL COSTS ENACTED BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Harris Sanitation, Inc. has applied to the City of Sebastian, Florida, for a rate increase to flow through to its customers a pro-rata share of an increase in land fill costs imposed by Indian River County, and has submitted back up data to support the requested increase, and WHEREAS, on Wednesday, May 7, 1986, the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, held a duly advertised Public Hearing on the Applicant's rate increase request, at which hearing the Ap- plicant presented additional evidence and testimony to the City Council, and responded to questions posed to the applicant, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the Appli- cant has shown the need for a rate increase to be effective on May 15, 1986 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Residence MONTHLY RATE as set forth in SECTION 9 of the Applicant's Franchise (at page 1967 of the City Code) now reading as follows: "Residence: Six dollars ($6.00) per dwelling per month; payable quarterly for twice weekly service, with all pickups at the front curb of the property" IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: "Residence': Six dollars and ninetv cents per month; payable quarterly for twice weekly service; with all pickups at the front curb of the property." 2. All other provisions of the existing Franchise of the Applicant remain unchanged, including all other provisions of Section 9. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail a copy hereof the the Municipal Code Corporation. 4. This Resolution is effective on May 15, 1986.
