ORDINANCE NO. 0-05-17
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA,
DECLARING A PUBLIC NEED FOR A LAND SWAP AT MAIN STREET
BOAT RAMP; AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF SAID LANDS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City owns property on both sides of the parcel owned by Bettina
Boudrot adjacent to the Main Street boat ramp; and
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Ms. Boudrot that the City exchange five feet of
land on the south side for five feet on the north side of her parcel; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the public interest to exchange
lands; and
WHEREAS, the values of the exchanged parcels should be equal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as foUows:
Section 1.
FINDINGS. It is in the public interest to effect an exchange of real
property to shift the lot lines of the parcels around the Main Street boat ramp.
Section 2. AUTHORIZATION. The City Council hereby authorizes an exchange of
the following described parcels of real property now lying and being within the incorporated area
of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida:

The north 5.00 feet of the south 13.00 feet of Lot 4, Hardee Subdivision No. B, as
recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 74, of the Public Records of SI. Lucie County,
Florida.
Said lands now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida.

recorded in Plat Book 4, page 74, of the Public Records of SI. Lucie County,
