Mr. Lagin will call Ms. Coy. Mr. Lagin was invited to the City of Vero Beach where he discussed our Champion Tree program with them. He showed them all our forms. They were very excited. Mr. Lagin spoke with the Pelican Island Garden Club about the Plant Sale in March 2008 at Riverview Park. They would like to be involved. There was much discussion about getting other groups involved, who should sponsor the event, and what to do with money made from the event. It was determined that at the May meeting the Board would decided if the Tree Board wanted to sponsor the event or help someone do it. The Tree Board needs to make a plan to present to Council and get their approval on the event. Tree Board Meeting March 28, 2006 Page 2 6.
