Mr. Melchiori passed out a list of 60 lots in this phase (see attached). Many of the lots
have pine trees on them. The Developer wants to make the development more uniform
by placing the same size and same amount of trees on each lot. They said that they
would put five (5) trees on each lot (more where required by code). Three large oaks
(10' - 12') and two 8' - 10' oaks would go on each lot. Mr. Melchiori would like either a
variance to the code or have the code changed all together to accommodate
subdivisions (to have the code look at the lots as a group instead of individual lots).
The Board was happy that a builder came to the meeting to ask their opinion. They
hated to see all the pines taken down but understood the concept. The Board liked the
larger trees being used. Chair Albury and Vice Chair Bennett will meet with the Growth
Management Director this week to discuss the plan and get back to Mr. Melchiori as
soon as possible.
Invasive Manaoement Plan for I. R. Laooon National Scenic Bvwav - This was put on
the back burner for the time being so the Board can work on the Commercial Landscape
portion of the LDC.
Commercial Landscaoe portion of LDC - It is important to be ready to discuss at July

meeting to go over revisions with the Board.
