Published in the TC Palm on 8/15/2007 PHYLLIS ANNETTE KEYES Phyllis Annette Keyes, 88 of Venice, formally of Northville Michigan and Roseland Florida, died Aug 4, 2007. No services are planned. Survivors include daughters Pamela Kaye Wood of San Diego, CA and Karen Lynn Zerndt of Nokomis; sisters Carol Benedict of Naples and Betty Root of Howell Michigan; 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great - Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Keyes and Jack Keyes; husband John Milton Keyes; brother William Gartrell and sister Margaret Hunsicker. Phyllis and John were married in Howell Michigan in her mother's home on March 21, 1942. They shared the same birthday of April 21st. Phyllis had a passion for gardening and loved nature. She loved to be surrounded by her favorite color pink and was affectionately known as 'Pinky' at Sunset Lake Village.
