Born in Manhattan, New York City, Ralph served in the U. S. Air Force for 21 years before employment at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center, until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed traveling and was an active member of Sebastian Masonic Lodge #232. Ralph is pre -deceased by his wife, Deanie; parents, Carmen and Frank; and six siblings. Survivors include sons, Alan (Karen) Lajara, Richard (CeCe) Hellenberg; siblings, Gloria Mercado, John (Tricia) Rodriguez, Midge Welsh; Deanie's daughters: Sharon (Ed) Klotz, Gwen (Steve) Bistarkey, Ronda Lynch; grandsons, Eric (Megan) Lajara, Ryan (Tara) Lajara, David Lajara; step - granddaughter, Megan Klotz; great-grandchildren, Ava Lajara and expected baby Jude Lajara.
