)OAN H. PROCOPIO
Joan H. Procopio, 83, died ]an. 11, 2008, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach. She was born in
Burlington, Vt., and lived in Sebastian for 18 years, coming from her birthplace. She was
a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian and the KOC Auxiliary. Survivors
include sons, Michael Procopio of New Castle, Pa., ]ames Procopio III of Burlington, and
David Procopio of Sebastian; daughters, Susan Cartwright of Coal Valley, III., and Carol
McKeever of Putnam Station, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her husband, James Procopio Jr., and her grandson, Mark
Procopio. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th
Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later
date. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian. A,A❑
