He served in the Army during World War II. Before retirement, he was postal carrier for the Vero Beach post office for seven years. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian and the Square Dances Club. Survivors include his sister, Genevieve Linder of Union Mills, N.C.; and brothers, James Follmer of Vero Beach and Walter Follmer of Sebastian. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice House, 1265 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sept. 9 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Sebastian Cemetery.
