He was the last surviving sibling of fourteen children. He was a master craftsman and worked for many years at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution. He was responsible for building a steamboat for Edwin Link, an electric boat for J. Seward Johnson, as well as a parlor car that is now displayed in a museum in Miami, Florida. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Doreen, and their two daughters, Lorraine and Joanne. Lorraine Dahlberg, husband, Dan Dahlberg, grandsons, Jason Dahlberg, wife Tera Sercovich, Tim Dahlberg, wife Bess Dahlberg, granddaughters, Sarah Kunc, husband, Ryan Kunc, Kate Ford, husband Matt Ford. Joanne Mattone, husband Martin Mattone, granddaughter Jennifer Mattone, grandson, Nick Mattone. Great Grandsons, Hudson Kunc and Jack Keller Dahlberg. The legacy he leaves is his amazing woodworking artistry which will be treasured and remembered forever. His pride and love for his family and unique sense of humor was appreciated by all who knew him. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, Florida followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM in the Chapel with Deacon Steve Guess, celebrant. Interment will at Sebastian Cemetery.
