The City of Sebastian requires that permanent markers (bronze, marble or granite) be installed within 120 days after burial. I am enclosing a copy of the rules and regulations that are applicable in the municipal cemetery. Temporary markers have in the past been pulled up and discarded by vandals or have been damaged by lawn maintenance equipment. At the end of 120 days the City of Sebastian will no longer be under any obligation to replace the temporary marker. Where this regulation renders a hardship or presents any special problems, such as an estate not settled, special consideration will be given. Request for special consideration should be made to Sally Maio, City Clerk, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, FL 32958. He was employed by the Ford Motor Co. for more than 30 years as a metal pattern maker. Survivors include his' wife of 55 years, Joan; daughters, Nancy Dow of Canton, Mich, MaryLou O'Connor, of Wil- liamston, Mich.; sons, John M. Arnast of Melvindale, Mich. and Gary Arnast of William ston, N.C.; sisters, Helen Oginsky of New Lothrop, Mich. and Ann James of Gary, Ind:; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hos- pice House, 1110 35th Lane, Ve- ro Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: No services will be conducted locally. A memo- rial service will be at a later date in Allen Park, Mich. Ar- rangements are by Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian.
