Mrs. Van Vooren was born August 24, 1940 in Queens, NY and moved to Barefoot Bay 21 years ago from Brentwood, NY. She was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Micco, FL, as well as the Moose Lodge, Honor New York Club, Italian-American Club and the Square Dancing Club in Barefoot Bay, FL. Survivors include her daughter Jacqueline Saunders of Whitestone, NY; son Robert Van Vooren, Jr. of Lititz, PA; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Van Vooren.
