REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 13, 2009 - 6:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Ch. Garland at 6:00 P.M.
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ch. Garland
ROLL CALL: Present: Ch. Garland Mr. Hosey
Mr. Morris Mr. Widup
Mrs. Carbano Mr. Bulla
Mr. Dellassandro had an unexcused absence.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular meeting held 10/13/08.
I make a motion we approve the minutes of meeting held 10/13/08 as written.

NEW BUSINESS: DANIEL A. MCCUSKER -HOME RESTORATION &
REFURBISHMENT 1NC

Summary of findings:
Mr. McCusker entered into a contract to perform structural repairs and renovations
involving the removal and replacement of wall studs, sheathing, wire lathe, stucco, window,
kitchen cabinets and sink. Also contracted to pressure clean and paint the house, remove
drywall and install dense shield wall-board in tiled area of the bathroom. Complaint filed
by homeowner states dissatisfaction with workmanship. Owner was not aware that the
contractor was unlicensed.

Mr. McCusker was sworn in by Ch. Garland.
After much discussion, a motion was made for Mr. McCusker not to be fined for
violation #1 -violation of contracting without a license 26.171 (a) Also, a motion was
made to fine Mr. McCusker for violating #2, offering and entering into a contract without
a license 26-171 (c). $150.00 fine was set in which to be paid in 30 days.
