Buckley Knipper Sebastian, FL Josephine (Jo) Buckley Knipper (b1928) of Sebastian, Florida, died peacefully on June 10, 2016. She was born in The Bronx, New York to Cornelius and Ellen Buckley, was raised in Manhattan, and later graduated from Aquinas High School in The Bronx. She spent her early adult life living in Hicksville, Long Island, New York where she raised her family. She relocated with her husband, John, to Sebastian in 1986. Jo was an active member of the St. Sebastian Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and lector, and where she was also an active member of the Women's Guild. She loved her family and her faith, and treated everyone with whom she came in contact with the same love and caring. Survivors are her son, John (Charleston, SC), daughter Patricia (New York City), and son Jerry and granddaughter Ann - Marie (County Kerry, Ireland). Jo was predeceased by John Knipper, her husband of sixty years. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church on Friday, June 17th at 10:00 am. A memorial in Jo's name may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101- 9950.
