Also did Robin Graves send over the power point that she is going to use at our meeting? Her contact is 918-8868 muwort2U yahoo.com Thanks, JoAnne White Parks and Recreation Committee, I have asked Linda to contact you before the next meeting on February 27. I have been committee chair for some time and have truly enjoyed the position on the committee but ready to turn it over to one of you. My term expires in May and I would like to continue to be on the committee but not as chair. Instead of waiting until May to pick a new chair we will do it at our next meeting. You are all excellent candidates for the position and would do a great job. So this note is coming to you now so you can think about it and be ready to nominate someone in the committee or yourself to be chair. The chair position is mainly to keep the committee moving along at our monthly meetings, meeting with Mr. Minner once a month to go over the next meeting agenda and follow ups on projects, issues that were discussed and so on. Linda and Chris are also a great help with questions and concerns that you have so you have great resources with them. It has been a great position and I would encourage all of you to think about it. This committee is one of the best in the city and I know that we have made a difference in the great city we live in. We are going to have a speaker at the meeting talk to us about Letter Boxing. It is pretty interesting and you may learn something new. See you soon, JoAnne White 2/21/2012
