CALL TO ORDER
10:00 a.m. There being a quorum present, Debra Krueger, called the
meeting to order.
SUBJECT
SELECTION OF ACTUARIAL FIRM
Requests for proposals (RFP) were sent to several firms by Lee Dehner.
Foster & Foster and GRE, returned responses to the RFP. Both firms
were invited to present to the Sebastian City Police Pension Board on
April 17, 2012. Foster & Foster accepted the invitation. GRS sent an
email at 8:43 AM the day of the meeting stating they would be unable to
attend. They provided no reason for their actions.
Subsequent,to the presentation by Foster & Foster, the Board had an
opportunity to ask questions about their proposal. The Firm was

excused. The Board continued discussion and determined to continue
with this firm rather than seek additional RFP responses.
Bob Zomok made the motion to retain Foster & Foster as the Plan
Actuary subject to completion of successful contract negotiations.
Debra Krueger, seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT/NEXT MEETINGS
There being no further business, Chairman Greg Witt called for a
motion to adjourn. The motion was approved by acclamation.
The next regular meeting of the Board is scheduled for June 12, 2012 at
10:00 AM in Sebastian City Council_ Chambers.
There will be another Special Meeting on August 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM
in Sebastian City Council Chambers to review the Impact Statement for
Membership Contribution Increase pursuant to Article 49.2 CFPBA.
Article 48 will also be reviewed.
