The bottom lands in this area have been appraised at the rate of $723.66 per acre, therefore, if the City of Sebastian will accept this price, so advise and we will present the application to the Trustees for further action. File #1575-31-253.12 Your attention is called to the enclosed Notice which is self - explanatory. While it has been policy and practice of the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund to issue to the local governing body a copy of such Notice simultaneously with Zelease of the Notice to a newspaper for publication in the County in which the subject land is situated, the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund, in their meeting of June 25, 1963, suggested. that copy of the Notice directed to the local governing body should: be accompanied by a brief letter re- questing that the action contemplated by the Trustees, as set forth in the Notice be given attention. It is, therefore, requested that the contemplated sale or other action be noted and, in the event you find the same to be adverse to public or private rights, you advise the Trustees prior to the date fixed in the Notice for further consideration and action by the Trustees, setting forth your -- - - -- objection and the basis therefor. This application is for the purchase of submerged land by Paul R. Stevenson in relation to the property he owns east of Old U. S. #1 lying between Coolidge Street and Fellsmere Road. From the sketch by Lloyd & Associates the property lies south of the extended centerline of Fellsmere Road. The Board of County Commissioners thought it best to bring this to your attention and decision on whether consideration should be made for the possible construction of a bridge across the river at this point.
