She passed away peacefully on March 2, 2024, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida. Marilyn was surrounded by her family and friends, including Tommy Amico, Emanuel Rios, Sam Romano, Terry Sofia Homing, Carol Carusotti, Karen Carusotti Taylor, and Michael Hamilton. Marilyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her loving husband of 62 years, Sam Amico, and daughter Tina Amico preceded her in death, along with her parents Sam and Josephine Romano, her brothers Joe and Tony Romano, as well as many other loving family members and friends. Marilyn leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will continue to live on. Marilyn is survived by her son Thomas Amico and his wife Diane Amico, her grandsons Emanuel Rios, Jacob Schwarz, Cris Amico, and her granddaughters Avorie Rios, Jamie Schwarz, and Toni Schwarz, as well as her brother Sam Romano. She also has four great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, great-nieces, nreat-nenhews. and manv cousins.
