I am in receipt of a letter dated October 18, 2011 from Debbie McManus and Brittney Keane of Fisherman's Landing LLC providing notice to Indian River Seafood, Inc. and Fisherman's Landing Sebastian, Inc. that their operations at 1540 Indian River Drive will terminate no later than October 27, 2011. Based on this letter and the vacation of the eatery portion of the facilities at 1540 Indian River Drive beginning Friday, October 21, it is the City's position that the operations at 1540 Indian River Drive are now in compliance with the grant assurances of the Stan Mayfield Working Waterfront Program. Please note that I will be providing the State a copy of this memo and requesting affirmation of the City's position as soon as possible. In order to prevent such issues in the future, the City would like to work with you on amendments to the Waterfront Collaborative Management Plan adopted on June 2010. Any modification to the plan will be subject to approval by the State of Florida and City Council. Should FLS have any ideas concerning our contractual relationship or the management plan, now would be an idea time for FLS to provide those thoughts to me in writing.
