F After battling Martin County administrators for more than 10 years, the Port Salerno Commercial Fishing Dock Authority has won dock space in the Manatee Pocket of Port Salerno for 35 of its members. The fishermen receive a 10-year lease, and can renew for three more 10-year leases. The authority will pay the $10,575 a year the county pays the state to lease the submerged property. Mike Baker, the authority's president, says fishermen will pay the annual fee by selling fresh-off-the-boat fish on the dock, creating a tourist draw for the small town. To qualify for a lease, the 35 members must be county residents. Ten non-resident fishermen will also receive dock spaces.
