She was born in Englewood, NJ and grew up in northern New Jersey. She became a beautician very young and ultimately owned her own Salons in Hackensack and Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ before retiring. A devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she raised her family in Hackensack and Jackson, New Jersey before retiring to Florida. She and her husband lived in Indian River County, Florida since 1990. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL, and was a Child of Mary throughout her life. She enjoyed travelling, crafting, sewing and needlepoint, and watching game shows and movies when she wasn't spending time with her beloved family. Her survivors include: Her three children -- Peter N. Vilardi (Doreen) of Manahawkin, NJ; Theresa Marrero (Luis) of Sebastian, FL; and Carmine F. Vilardi (Virginia) of Wetumpka, AL. Her Legacy lives on through her 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren: Lorraine (& Gary) Lukich (Gary Jr. and Timothy) of Forked River, New Jersey; Nicholas (& Cindy) Vilardi (Alayna, Anthony, Adrian and Ava) of Chula Vista, CA; Concetta (& Michael) Hall (Elizabeth, Guinevere and Victoria) of Vero Beach, FL; Charlene (& Steve) Dunham (Ethan) of Manahawkin, NJ; Robert (& Misty) Vilardi (Julian, Lillian, and Dominic) of Wetumka, AL; Jacquelyn C. (& Kieth)LeFevre (Kira and Joseph) of Wetumpka, AL; Frank (& Nicole) Marrero (Luis and Angie) of Sebastian, FL; and Peter J. Vilardi (& Lisa Sturiale) of Summerville, FL. She also leaves behind her loving brother Carmine DiTomasso (Chris) of Estero, FL and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death 11 days earlier by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank S. Vilardi, who went to help build their place in Heaven.
