RESOLUTION NO. R-14-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING ENGINEERING REVIEW FEES
FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, adopted Resolution R-
03-25 outlining the fees for various development applications within the Community
Development Department (Growth Management); and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution R-10-44 which temporarily reduced
certain development fees by fifty percent to assist business to grow, expand or start-up in
Sebastian; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution R-11-28 extending the temporary fee
reductions for a two-year period, as well as Resolution R-13-30 extending the temporary fee
reductions for another two-year period until November 30, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City has now employed the services of an in-house City Engineer who
will perform engineering review for development plans for which the review fees of the
consulting engineer were formerly billed to the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish in-house engineering review fees as a
reduction of this expense to development applicants.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEBASTIAN, as follows:
Section 1. ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES: The City Council of the City of
Sebastian does hereby establish certain engineering review fees as highlighted on the fee
schedule attached, labeled "Exhibit A".
Section 2. CONFLICT.
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.

The foregoing Resolution was moved for adoption by Councilmember
Coy . The motion was seconded by Councilmember Adams
and, upon being put into a vote, the vote was as follows:
