November 12, 1958
The State Road Board convened for a regular
meeting at two o!clOOk P.M.
on Wednesday, November 12, 1958 in the Board Room of the Holland Building et
Tallahassee, with Chairman Grotegut presiding and Heaters Albert Li Boger°, Earil.

Also present were: James Be Nelsen, Administrator Third District; Ralph
Davis; Executive Director; A.C. C1iurah, Highway Engineer, his several assistants
and District Engineers; Charles T. Boyd, Jr., Board Attorney; Roes Stanton,
Residant
Attorney; L.A. Fraleigh, Secretary,. Other division heads also were present as
needed.
APPROVAL OF MINUTE •
On motion of Mr• Davis, seconded by Mr. Powers, the minutes of the
meeting held on October 14, 1958 were approved and ordered recorded.
DELEGATION.
Martin County
Mr. Ben Herr appeared before the Board on behalf of Mr. Michael G. Phipps,
who requests that he be allowed to maintain the Old drainage ditch along Indiantown
Road in Martin County West of Stuart - (See action of Board recorded on page 17 of
these minutes).
AWARD OF CONTRACTS
On motion of Mr. Rogero, seconded by Mr. Davis, the following resolution
was adopted:
WHEREAS, pursuant to due advertisement, the State Road Department did On
the dates hereinafter indicated receive bids for the construction of certain
projects and for the furnishing of certain materials end equipment, as hereinafter
listed:
WHEREAS, the firms hereinafter named were and are hereby declared to be
the lowest responsible bidders therefor,
NOW, THEREFoRS, BE XT RESOLVED that the contracts hereinafter listed be
and they are hereby awarded to the said respective low bidders, and signature
of the Director thereto ie authorized, Which said contracts are as follows,
to•wit,
